I joke that my discovery process is like therapy, because it really kinda is. We'll go through your hopes, dreams, doubts, assumptions, and the goals for your business. I encourage my clients to go on tangents, talk about their story, and things that inspire them outside of their business or industry. There is conceptual gold in these conversations that supports me in making the unique and soulful brands you can see in my portfolio.

Our intial moodboarding session is collaborative. My live image-rating process allows for even the least opinionated and technical people to express their design preferences (ones they didn't even know they had). From there, i'll creative direct 2-3 directions for us to chose from based on our findings.

The earliest directions for the brand. These are broad strokes to test concepts that we like, but aren't sure of yet. This looks different for every brand, but we aim to nail down on fonts, colors, logo, and a general vibe to move forward with.

This is the most intensive and async part of the process.
